Drivers Age Requirements:

Minimum 21 years old

Additional Drivers:

Additional drivers are allowed, at a cost of 6.05 Euro per day. Same requirements as a main driver.

Driver License Requirements:

There are some limitations on accepting the driving licences. Driving licences must be in English, Latin or Cyrillic letters. International Driving licences are required when a driving license is not in English, Latin or Cyrillic letters. Every driver must produce a valid, original driving licence including photo ID and counterpart.
All the drivers must have the driver’s licence for at least 2 years.
United Kingdom driver’s license holders need to present a photo card as well.
All the customers without an EU driving licence must have an International driving permit to pick up cars.
If a customer arrives at the rental desk without the necessary documentation as stated above, the booking will be cancelled without any refunds.

In addition to the stated requirements, the hirer of the vehicle is directly responsible to ensure that customer’s driving licence is valid for use in the respective country and it remains the responsibility of the hirer to determine whether an International Driving Permit is required by a local law. Failure to provide a valid licence and IDP (as required) will result in a non-refundable termination of the reservation at the rental counter.

Driver’s Age & Restrictions:

The minimum age for a driver is 21 years old.
Maximum age is 99 years old.
Young drivers aged 21 – 24 years old will have additional fee of €12.10 VAT included.
Senior drivers aged 80 to 99 years old will have additional fee of €12.10 VAT included

Insurance Coverage

Collision damage waiver (CDW), Super Collision damage waiver (SCDW) and Excess reduction cover (ERC) do not include damage to: wheel rims, tyres, hubcaps, interior of the vehicle, rear view mirror, wing mirrors, car glass, clutch, locks, undercarriage, sump, engine, catalytic converter and radiator. As well not included are battery recharge, loss of keys, tow truck, taxi transfer after an accident, deposit for the vehicle replacement and compensation for lost rental days while the vehicle is being repaired.

Excess Reduction Waiver – Covered Windows, Tyres, Wing Mirrors and Wheels
Excess reduction cover (ERC) does not include damage to: hubcaps, interior of the vehicle, locks, undercarriage, clutch, engine, sump, catalytic converter and radiator. Also not included are battery recharge, loss of keys, towtruck, taxi transfer after an accident, deposit for the vehicle replacement and compensation for lost rental days while the vehicle is being repaired.

PAI, Theft and Fire Damage:

PAI is not included in the rental rate. Fire and Theft Insurance is included in the rental rate. In case of Fire or Theft client would be liable for the excess amount according to the booked class.

Maximum Coverage of Third Party Liability Insurance (SLI) for Bodily Injuries and Material Damages:
Coverage for person is 5 000 000 EUR, for material damages 1 000 000 EUR.

Roadside assistance:

Roadside assistance is available for all renters. It is included in Premium Plus package or you can purchase it at the time of pick-up at the desk. If you purchase it, we will provide you 24/7 breakdown assistance without extra fees. Roadside Assistance Protection includes replacement of lost keys, flat tyres, breakdown, coverage of help on the road. If you do not purchase Roadside Assistance you may be charged additional costs if we provide above described services.


Different Sit&Go packages have their own prices – Basic, Medium, Premium and Premium+ are available on numerous website channels and everything is explained in the voucher what is included in the rental rate with every package. Customers must check what is included in a package before booking and present the voucher at the rental counter.

Vehicle Group/Model

All the vehicles are classified into groups using the ACRISS codes for clarity of the booking. The group will be printed on your reservation.

Reservations are confirmed for a group/class and not a particular model unless shown otherwise. We are unable to guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type unless a guaranteed model group has been booked.
The vehicle shown on any documentation is for guidance only and may be substituted with an alternative, similar or upgraded vehicle at our discretion but not a downgrade.

Vehicle Condition

All the vehicles must be returned to the same location as per pick-up in the same condition as it was picked up/delivered if it is not declared otherwise. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the vehicle is clearly checked and all the damages were marked in the vehicle’s condition report.
Whilst in charge of the vehicle the client accepts responsibility for maintaining the roadworthiness of the vehicle and agrees to take remedial action to avoid unnecessary cost/damage. This will include maintaining oil levels, tire pressures and other common sense actions to maintain the vehicle if before authorized. Costs will generally be covered only if it’s authorized in advance from the rental branch.
Renter returns the vehicle in a clean condition (normal wear and tear excepted). If the vehicle is exceptionally dirty upon return or if there is damage to the seats, seat upholstery or the carpets an additional charge for deep cleaning might be applied. This charge will be dependent upon the actual state of the vehicle when returned.
Any damage caused to the vehicle, if returned out of working hours, is the responsibility of the hirer until our staffs have checked in the vehicle.


A copy of your voucher or electronic voucher must be produced upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to present the voucher means the car rental agent may charge you at the local rates. Please note: We are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the local agent on collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required documents, the documentation is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed

Methods of Payment

Credit card (MasterCard & Visa)
Debit card and cash are not accepted.
American Express is not accepted for payment or the deposit.
The deposit has to be held on the credit card of the main driver.
The credit card must be valid for at least 3 months after the last day of rental.
In the event that a customer fails to present a valid credit card or there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, the car rental agent may refuse the release of the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Smoking Policy:

Sit&Go has a no smoking policy for all the vehicles. If you have smoked in the vehicle charges will apply. This includes allowing cigarette (or cigar) smoke or ash into the vehicle, which would imply the above. Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the rental counter. A valeting fee will be surcharged to rectify any soiling due to cigarette (or cigar) smoke / ash in the minimum amount of €150.

Animals in our vehicles:

We request no animals are transported in our vehicle unless contained due to allergies for later customers. A valeting fee may be applied to rectify any soiling due to animal transportation. Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the rental counter

The car should be returned clean. Cleaning service fee is not included in the booking rate. The cleaning service fee is €15. In cases where the vehicle has been returned dirty without prior cleaning service purchase, charges of €20 may apply.

Fuel Policy:

Fuel policy is “like for like”. Return the hire vehicle with the same level of fuel as on collection.
The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle with the same amount of fuel that was provided at the time of pickup. Vehicles returned with fuel lower than the level listed on their rental agreement will be charged a fee. The rate charged for missing fuel is stated on your rental agreement. Hirers are recommended to return the car with the same fuel to avoid charges.

Kilometers Policy:

Please note if the customer exceeds the limited mileage a fee of €0.15 per kilometer will be charged. Unlimited mileage is only with Premium and Premium+ products.

Opening Hours:

Please check the Sit&Go Locations List for local opening hours. Some local holiday variations may apply. Please check with your local office. Locations may be closed for pickups and returns on Christmas Day, Easter Day and New Year’s Day. Locations may be closed on other public holidays. Please check at time of booking.

Out of hour’s collection and drop off:

Out of hours service is available from €25 VAT included (Payable locally)

Delayed Collections / No show policy:

Reservations are being held for 1 hour from the specified reservation time after which they will be classed as a non-show. If a customer arrives after this time then a vehicle is not assured. We will do everything possible to provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and rates may be different to the original booking.

Flight numbers provided are for informational purposes only. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the location of any delays.

Rental Extensions:

Please note that it may not always be possible for the hiring branch to extend the hire. Where the branch agrees to extend the hire, the rental will be charged at the prevailing rate which may be higher or lower than the original booking rate.
You must ask for a possible extension at least few hours before original return time.

Non-authorized rental extension:

Penalty above the rental charge and the driver will be black listed (declined for future bookings). Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the rental counter.

Early Returns/Unused Rental Days:

No refunds (partial or full) will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date.

Late Returns:

A vehicle is rented for a contracted period as detailed on the rental agreement.The return day and time as selected by the customer at the time of booking will be enforced regardless of delayed pickup time. If the vehicle is returned outside the grace period, there will be a charge of an additional day or a late fee.

Grace period: 1 Hour.


Reservation amendments must be requested in writing at least 24 hours prior to the start of your rental. Please note that telephone amendments will not be accepted. An amendment request is not assured and amendments will be treated as a new booking.

One-way rentals:

One way rentals are possible for additional charge. The further delivery is, the higher price will be.


Vehicles are permitted on ferries. Fee applies at the ferry. Check with the location.

Optional Extras:

All optional extras can be purchased at the desk at the pick-up time.

Baby seat: €8,47/day, maximum €85
Child booster seat: €8,47/day, maximum €85
Toddler seat: €8,47/day, maximum €85
GPS: €8,47/day, maximum €85
Snow chains: €20/day, no maximum
Ski rack: €15/day, no maximum
Luggage / roof rack: €15/day, no maximum
Mobile Phone charger: €3,63/day, maximum €18,15


Geographic Restrictions:

Cross borders are allowed but informing is a must. Available only for the countries listed below – surcharges apply
Latvia – €36,30
Estonia €36,30
Poland €60,50
All other locations are forbidden.
A penalty of €500 will apply in the event of unauthorised border crossing. Please note that not all countries have physical border control between countries. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they do not cross the border into another country and to remain on the lookout for border boundaries when travelling near other country borders.

Lost Keys

Sit&Go will charge if keys are lost or damaged. Please note that if a vehicle is stolen and keys are not returned to the rental location, the hirer will be deemed negligent. Lost keys are deemed as negligence and are not covered under the insurance excess limitation or risk reduction packages. Drivers will be liable for all costs relating to recovery, loss of use and repair. This list is not exhaustive.

Fines, Penalties and Administration Charges

It is the responsibility of each hirer to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. When fines or traffic violations occur and a Sit&Go location is involved in administering the charge then an administration fee (except parking fines) will be charged to the customer.

Vehicle Trackers

Some of our vehicles contain tracking devices which will be used in accordance with our data protection policy.


All complaints should be made in writing to our Contact Form in the page or via email to info@sitandgo.com within 30 days from the last day of your rental. Whilst we do try to resolve all cases brought to our attention, those raised after this period may not be considered. If at any point during the investigation process communication ceases for a period of more than 30 days, the case will be considered closed and no further action will be taken.


Your property

We are not responsible for lost items in vehicles. If you inform our customer service about lost items in the vehicle, we might put them in Lost&Found but shipping services must be covered by the customer.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of your reservation should be made in writing at least 48 hours (depends on booked package) prior to the start of your rental, or cancelled through your account on the Sit&Go website. Please note that telephone cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Administration Charge

Standard Cancellation Policy (except for Basic* and Premium+** Packages)

The notifications about cancellations must be done at least 48 hours before the start of your rental.

Cancellation notification sent 7 or more days before the start date: the prepaid amount will be refunded minus a €15 administration fee.
Cancellation notification sent 3-6 days before the start date: 50% of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
Cancellation notification sent 2 days before the start date: 25% of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
Cancellation notification sent 0-1 days before the start date: no refund due.

All prepaid reservations will be subject to a minimum cancellation fee of €15.
For any bookings where the prepaid amount is less than €15, there will be no refund due regardless of when the cancellation request was made.
For pay on arrival reservations made online, the non-show/cancellation fee will equal the pre-paid amount and no refund will be due.

Free Cancellation until 48 hours of the reservation start time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours from the start time would be non-refundable.

General Terms
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions.

Sit&Go cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed for and accepted locally.

Sit&Go will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The customer will accept responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exclusive.

Sit&Go trading as Sit&Go International act as an agent / intermediary for customers booking on www.sitandgo.eu and associated websites. Booking confirmation vouchers will be issued to the customers via email. All transactions are subject to VAT. If VAT invoices are required, these would need to be issued directly by the location servicing the rental once the booking has been serviced, and not by Sit&Go.

When comprehensive insurance is taken out it is to provide the customer with entitlement to drive and covers the vehicle in the event of an accident. In the case where a customer is found negligent Sit&Go and its locations reserve the right to pursue the customer for the recovery of all losses incurred.
